All purchases made through our store are final. Digital perks, ranks, and in-game items are delivered virtually and are considered rendered immediately upon receipt of payment confirmation, meaning no right of withdrawal or refund applies once a purchase has been fulfilled.

// REFUNDS

We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law, or at our sole discretion in cases of a proven accidental duplicate purchase or a verified technical failure that prevented delivery of the purchased item.

// CHARGEBACKS

By completing a purchase, you agree not to file a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider for any transaction where the purchased item(s) were successfully delivered to your account. Filing a chargeback under these circumstances constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service, not a valid payment dispute.

// CONSEQUENCES OF A DISPUTE

If a chargeback or payment reversal is filed in violation of the section above, we reserve the right, without prior notice, to permanently ban the associated Minecraft and/or Discord account(s), revoke any purchased ranks, perks, or items — including those from prior, unrelated purchases — and pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any processing or administrative fees incurred, through any lawful means available to us.

// BEFORE YOU DISPUTE

Please contact our support team through the ticket system first to attempt to resolve any issue. This policy does not limit any statutory right you may have to dispute a genuinely fraudulent or unauthorized transaction not made by you or someone authorized to use your payment method.

// WHAT WE COLLECT

When you log in with Discord, we receive your Discord ID, username, and server membership status. When you file a support ticket or make a purchase, we collect the Minecraft username you provide. Standard web request data (such as IP address) is processed by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, as part of normal traffic handling.

// WHY WE COLLECT IT

This data exists to run core features: verifying you're a member of our Discord before letting you chat or file tickets, linking your Discord and Minecraft identities for in-game perks, and processing store purchases through Tebex. We do not collect more than these features require.

// THIRD PARTIES

We share data only with the services needed to run the server: Discord (authentication and chat), Tebex (payment processing — we never see or store your card details), and Cloudflare (hosting and request handling). We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

// SESSIONS & COOKIES

Your login session is stored in your browser's local storage as a signed token, not a tracking cookie. It expires automatically after 24 hours or when you log out, and is only ever read by this website.

// DATA RETENTION

Discord–Minecraft verification links and support ticket records are kept for as long as needed to operate the server and resolve disputes. You can request removal of your linked data by filing a support ticket.

// ACCEPTANCE

By accessing this website, logging in with Discord, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Payments & Chargeback Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services.

// ELIGIBILITY

You must comply with Discord's and Mojang/Microsoft's own terms of service to use our Discord bridge and Minecraft server. Purchases require you to be legally able to enter into this agreement, or to have permission from a parent or guardian to do so.

// ACCOUNT & CONDUCT

Your Discord account and Minecraft account, once linked, are treated as a single identity for verification, chat, tickets, and purchases. You are responsible for activity under your linked accounts. Server rules (see our Rules page) apply to all in-game and Discord conduct, and violations may result in bans, mutes, or loss of access without refund.

// VIRTUAL ITEMS

Ranks, perks, cosmetics, and any other purchased or granted in-game items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and exist solely for use on this server. We may modify, rebalance, or discontinue any perk at our discretion, including after purchase, though we will make reasonable efforts to preserve the value of prior purchases.

// SERVICE AVAILABILITY

The server, website, Discord bridge, and store are provided "as is" without guarantee of uninterrupted uptime. We are not liable for lost items, progress, or purchases resulting from server downtime, world resets, plugin errors, or third-party service outages (Discord, Tebex, Cloudflare, or your hosting provider).

// LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarScourge SMP and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, our Discord server, or our Minecraft server, including but not limited to loss of in-game progress or purchased items.

// CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website or server after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
